Introducing: Gaming for Change 🎮

We’re proud to introduce Gaming for Change, a nonprofit initiative launched by Letsresel to bring the power of strategic games into correctional institutions across the state of Ohio. This program uses games like MTG to teach critical thinking, patience, communication, and decision-making skills that are vital for successful reintegration into society.

This pilot program starts in 2025 and will be entirely funded and supported by Letsresel, with the long-term goal of expanding into youth centers, rehab facilities, and educational institutions.

Why It Matters

  I first discovered Magic: The Gathering while incarcerated at Marion Correctional. At the time, it wasn't just a way to pass the hours; it gave me a chance to think critically, socialize in a positive environment, and build skills that helped reshape my life. That experience stayed with me, and it's one of the reasons I believe structured gaming like Magic can have real rehabilitative value for others. Today, I'm working full-time, earning a good living, have a beautiful wife with three children, and running my own Magic: The Gathering retail business. Gaming not only changed how I thought, but it also helped change where I ended up. That's why I created Gaming for Change TM: to offer the same constructive outlet that once helped me to those who are currently inside.

 

Our Vision

Through Gaming for Change, we envision a future where games are part of the solution — where every booster pack or tournament kit contributes to something more meaningful.
